STIRLING’S FARMERS MARKET VISITS THISTLES SHOPPING CENTRE

April 27, 2021

April 24th 2021 had Stirling’s very own farmers market setting up their stalls in town throughout the day. The stalls were set up between Greggs and Café Nero and filled the streets with delicious food and drink, ranging from cheese to spirits to fresh fish. Covid-19’s social distancing rules have forced the stalls to spread out much more, meaning less stalls can be set up at once, so the organisation has decided to have the market set up twice a month now.

The organisation plans to have around 15 stalls set up at each meet, hoping that all of their producers get a fair and equal opportunity to trade their product. The stalls are up from 10am until 4pm on the 2nd and the 4th Saturdays of each upcoming month, with the next two dates being May 8th and May 22nd.

The farmers market organisers encourage you to visit the stalls, and if you are unable there is always the option to visit their new weekly online market, https://www.thegreatbritishfoodhub.com/hubs/stirling-farmers-market-online, where their motto is ‘Shopping Local Made Easy!’.
